Safe Exit Assist

Before your passengers exit, the standard Safe Exit Assist feature can scan for oncoming hazards, sounding an alert, and even stop the sliding doors to help avoid danger.

Rear Occupant Alert with Ultrasonic Sensors

This feature is able to sound an alert if the rear seat is occupied when you are exiting the vehicle, or it can also send a notification to your compatible device if the vehicle senses movement inside while you’re away.

Forward Collision-Avoidance

Standard Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection uses sensors and cameras to scan the road ahead for hazards. The Carnival MVP alerts the driver and even applies the brakes to help prevent a collision. Available Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Junction Turning Assist and Cyclist Detection can help when turning through an intersection or sharing the road with cyclists.

Blind-Spot View Monitor

The Blind-Spot View Monitor projects a live feed of your blind spots onto your instrument cluster when you trigger your turn signal in your 2022 Kia Carnival MVP. When this is paired with standard Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, the system helps avoid potential collisions by guiding the vehicle in its current lane.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance

Standard Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance can alert the driver or hit the brakes to help intervene if a collision is detected from behind. Front and rear parking sensors also provide alerts when approaching obstacles.

Parking Collision Avoidance

Standard Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist, Reverse (PCA-R) uses the rearview camera and sensors to recognize nearby objects. If a collision is close to occurring, the system triggers warnings and can engage the brakes to prevent an accident.
